Hey There, welcome back! In this second episode of the series ‘Creating Soundscapes’ is given an quick insight on further evolving a theme or more musical themes in a play. This episode analyses in brief view how stringquartet themes are integrated in a play. The quartet itself consists of 4 parts: 1. Andante, 2. Allegro, 3. Allegro II and 4. Adagio. In this podcast you’ll hear examples of a theme and the nessecity of variations on a theme.
In a play on stage, a lot of different things are happening at the same time. Therefore, it’s important to always have an open view to what happens on stage, and how a prepared and written piece is integrated with what happens on stage.
