A Mother’s hymne is a piece for vocals and piano (and double bass) and is a poem based on vocal elements and musical visualisation of a mother soul.

First time it was (partly) performed was an acapella frasing part of it during the performance of ‘courage’ at the ferro dome from conny janssen danst in 2016

No lyrics of the poem were integrated in the live performance of the choir under direction of Loes van Schaijk. With soloist soprano Caroline van Tol

Later, a few attempts were made to perform the piece in its fullest with instruments and lyrics, but so far it has not been performed live.

Therefore, this archive piece is available now! To reach you fellow musicians and people, for it’s a joy to share.
